Today we honor some incredible members of our Rivercrest team: Angie Cullum, LeeAnn Williams, Melissa Sims, Hunter Robinson, and Johnny Fleming (not pictured: Justin Ellis).
These employees were honored with The Rivercrest Hero Award for their heroic actions last school year when they responded quickly to a student in cardiac arrest. Their fast action and teamwork made all the difference, and we are proud to call them Rivercrest Heroes.
Thank you for showing what it means to put students first!

Kris Shinn is the President and
CEO of Willing Ways, an Arkansas-based autism and behavior intervention
consultancy. Inspired by raising his son with autism, Kris has spent over 20 years helping families, educators, and students with practical behavior strategies. He has been presenting to coops across the state this summer, and we are fortunate to have him as a support for our staff this year.

Thank you to Cross Bank for sponsoring lunch for our teachers and staff on their first day back!

Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Rivercrest Students
Rivercrest School District is a CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) school. This means every student receives free breakfast and free lunch No forms, no income requirements, no questions asked.
Meal Times:
RES Breakfast: Begins at 7:20 a.m.
Junior High/High School Breakfast: Begins at 7:15 a.m.
Help Your Child Start the Day Strong
We want every student to take part. A healthy breakfast fuels learning. Encourage your child to grab a tray and start their day with us, free, every day.
Help Us Keep Meals Free
You can help ensure Rivercrest continues offering free meals by keeping your child’s home address updated with the school.
If your family receives any state benefits (like SNAP or Medicaid), your child’s address must match those records. This helps the district receive state reimbursement, which keeps meals free for everyone.

Students have no expectation of privacy for confiscated devices.

Rivercrest School District announces that Coach Brett Hardin has been named Interim Head Football Coach and Athletic Director for the Rivercrest Colts High School program for the 2025–2026 school year. He will also serve as Junior High Dean of Students.
This transition follows recent health concerns for Coach Johnny Fleming, who has made the decision to step down from coaching duties. Coach Fleming remains a dedicated part of our district and will continue serving students as a Physical Education teacher.
Coach Hardin will lead the program this year, and the district will assess coaching assignments at the conclusion of the season to determine future needs.
We are grateful for the leadership of both Coach Hardin and Coach Fleming, and for the commitment of our entire Colts coaching staff.
