
The National Honor Society induction ceremony for students in grades 7-11 will take place in August for the 2025-2026 school year membership. Thank you for your understanding.
Class of 2025 (Senior) NHS members will be recognized at the Senior Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 8 at 6pm.


Congratulations to those seniors who will graduate and be recognized for their time in the National Honor Society. Students had to maintain a 3.0 and be an active member during the 2024-2025 school year If you believe your name is missing reach out to Mrs. Pittman or Mrs. Henderson.

Congratulations to Monterious Smith on his acceptance to Westminster College, Wilmington College, Anderson University, Bethel College, Manchester College and Dakota Wesleyan University .


Hugo Gonzalez, Victor Arreola, A'Melody Russell, Emma Bell, and Ally Bell traveled to Conway to the State Math Competition. After arriving at Conway the students enjoyed a movie, dinner and some social time. Saturday morning students competed in the math competition followed by a campus tour and lunch. Everyone had a great time and we all have high hopes of returning next year!

RHS seniors were honored tonight at the Arkansas Scholars Banquet hosted by the Chamber of Commerce.

Rivercrest Lady Colts' Late Push Leads To Victory Over Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats
Rivercrest beat Walnut Ridge 6-5 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The Lady Colts were down 5-4 in the top of the fifth inning when an error scored two runs.
They opened the scoring in the first after an error scored two runs.
Walnut Ridge took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Whitley White doubled, scoring three runs, to give Walnut Ridge the advantage, 5-2.
The Lady Colts captured the lead, 6-5, in the top of the fifth after Taylor Routledge singled down the left field line, each scoring two runs.
Katelyn Ostendorf earned the win for Rivercrest. The starter allowed three hits and five runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking three.
Karlee Cullom and Emme Weldon each collected two hits for Rivercrest. Routledge went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Addison Johnson stole two bases.


Mr. Stoddard's Survey of Ag classes joined with Rivercrest Elementary K-2nd grades for a Reptile Program put on by Arkansas Game and Fish. AGFC Educators Lucas Martin and Haylee Rye brought an American alligator and hognose snake to share with students about the importance of reptiles in Arkansas for agriculture. Each student had the opportunity to pet the gater (older students could also touch the snake), receive an Arkansas snake guide, and some even received participation prizes. Sophomore A.J. Johnson is pictured holding a nervous observer.

Seniors - Cap & Gown Pickup & Chromebook Turn In will be Tuesday, May 6 - 10:00am - 3:30pm!
Chromebook Turn In:
Chromebooks and chargers should be turned in to Mrs. Kristy Graham's office (room 113) beginning Tuesday, May 6. Chromebook serial numbers will be checked to make sure it is your assigned device. If you have lost your Chromebook or charger, you must pay for it (costs are posted on Google Classroom).
Cap & Gown Pickup:
Caps and gowns can be picked up Tuesday, May 6 in the counselor's office. You MUST turn in your Chromebook, pay any outstanding fines, and pay for your cap and gown before you can pick it up. If you have quarterly tests that are not completed, you may pick up AFTER they are finished.

Pitching Impressive As Rivercrest Lady Colts Beat Hoxie Mustangs Both teams were strong in the circle on Monday, but Rivercrest defeated Hoxie 3-2. Katelyn Ostendorf started the game for the Lady Colts and recorded 21 outs. The Lady Colts were the first to get on the board in the fourth when Addison Johnson hit into a double play, but one run scored. Ostendorf earned the win. The hurler gave up seven hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out five and walking none. Emme Weldon provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Rivercrest with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Ella Gonzalez, Weldon, and Johnson each collected two hits. Rivercrest had patience at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Ostendorf and Hannah Higgins led the team with two bases on balls each. The Lady Colts take on Walnut Ridge Wednesday at 4:30 for the district championship.


RJHS & RHS Students — It’s ATLAS Testing Time!
This week, students will begin taking the ATLAS state test — and we want to encourage everyone to give it their very best effort! To help motivate students to work hard and show all they have learned, we’re offering the chance to win some exciting prizes!
This prize incentive is designed to encourage students to put forth their best effort during testing. The more students achieve, the more opportunities they have to win!


Keiran Morris collected three hits in four at bats, as the Rivercrest Colts defeated Manila 5-0 on Saturday during the district tournament. Morris doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the seventh inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Rivercrest got on the board in the fourth inning after Joe Louis Ralph doubled, scoring one run.
Ralph started on the mound for Rivercrest. The righty allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. Morris and Ralph were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for the Colts.
Ralph went 3-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Morris and Jayden Ralph each stole multiple bases for Rivercrest.
The Colts will play Walnut Ridge Monday at 4:30 at OPAR.
