Our Jostens rep will be on campus Wednesday, December 17 at 8:45 am to meet with juniors and seniors that need to see him!

Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is providing opportunities for every student to pursue post-secondary education success-whether through enrollment, employment, or enlistment.
ACT 724 of 2025 expands the types of college and career readiness (CCR) assessments that schools must offer.
All 9th and 10th graders will take the ATLAS Assessment. An additional assessment is optional but available. If you would like to take an additional assessment, please complete the Google Form posted in Google Classroom by Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Assessment highlights are attached.
All 11th graders will take the ACT WorkKeys. There is a Google Form available in Google Classroom for 11th and 12th graders who wish to take the ASVAB (military) assessment.

Elementary students brought home order forms yesterday, and forms for High School will be out today.

Seniors and Parents!
Join us for Senior Life Skills Day this Friday, December 5 from 9am - 11am in the High School Gym. We will have community and staff members set up to talk to seniors about various life skills they need to know from taxes to car care and everything in between. There will also be food and lots of prizes given away to the seniors!

It's that time of year! The second and third grade students are ready to spread holiday cheer! Everyone is invited to the annual Christmas program on Friday, December 12 at 1:30 PM in the Rivercrest Auditorium. We can't wait to see you there!

Our Rivercrest Jr. High cheer girls are spreading Christmas cheer! They are collecting gifts for local nursing home residents now through December 17.
Socks, blankets, puzzles, and board games are all welcome! Drop donations at RES or RJH and help us bless our community this season.

RHS students in Coach Rainwater's AP World History: Modern class have been learning about Transoceanic Empires. RHS students in Coach Rainwater's AP Human Geography class created a website exploring how food reveals culture, geography, and globalization. Students selected a world region and researched how dishes tell stories of trade, migration, religion, and cultural blending. Check out their project here: sites.google.com/smccolts.com/aphugrhs/home
They completed the unit by hosting a lunch filled with foods from many cultures!


Thank you to Junior Auxiliary of South Mississippi County for donating Thanksgiving meals to Rivercrest families!

The Wilson Cooperative Club is hosting a Chili Supper fundraiser tonight, November 21 from 5-7pm at the Wilson Fire Department. The fundraiser will benefit the Rivercrest scholarship fund and support the Backpack Project (food pantry). Tickets are $10 at the door. Bring a canned food or packaged food item for the Backpack Project and you will receive a dessert!
