Rivercrest HS JROTC created and delivered Christmas cards for veterans at the VA Hospital in Memphis. These cadets distributed over 450 cards to veterans and staff at the hospital as they traveled through the hospital and its various clinics. The cards were created by Rivercrest Elementary and the junior and senior classes. Thank you to Merideth Elder, David Diagostino, and the JROTC staff for coordinating.
Braden Ellis and Weston Cox were recognized for great acts of kindness this week. Each student received Colt Gear.

The RHS competition cheer team walked away with another first place win in the 3-4A division at Lake Hamilton today, finishing their regular season undefeated. Their next competition will be December 17 for the State Championship.
Congratulations to the Rivercrest Colts selected as All-Conference and All-State in football for 2022. The All-Conference selections are seniors Trent Kimbrough and Jaden Stovall; juniors Wyatt Lancaster, Amarion Lofton, Michael Rainer, Marcus Slayton, and Koby Turner; and sophomore Cavonta Washington. Trent Kimbrough and Koby Turner were selected All-State. The 4A-3 conference gets 8 all-state players and they are voted on by all 4A-3 coaches. Once again, congratulations! #ColtPride

The Colts will play Walnut Ridge tomorrow evening, December 2. Games will begin at 5:00pm with 7th grade followed by junior and senior high. The games will be played AT Walnut Ridge (this is a location change).
