Mrs. Caley will be selling tattoos at the elementary school November 4-7 and at the Rivercrest Elementary Fall Festival on November 8. Prices range from $1 - $5 depending on the size. (Some teachers might be rocking a full sleeve.)
Here’s how it works:
* Buy a tattoo and drop it in your favorite teacher’s jar.
* The more tattoos in their jar, the more they’ll have to wear!
* On 11/11, those brave teachers will show up to school completely 𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗗!
Staff Participating: Petyon Milligan, Dixie Reeves, Crystal Barclay, Ashley Blagg, Blaire Brown, Amber Chipman, Merideth Elder, Caley Felts, Kim Hauk, Sarah Imler, Kaci Jones, Sherrie Jones, Cynthia Mauppins, Andrea Monreal, Maggie Pike, Heather Sims.
It’s fun, it’s silly, and it’s all for a good cause - supporting our Rivercrest Volleyball team!

Parents, guardians, and community members, we are looking for your valuable feedback to make this year's Senior Life Skills Day the best one yet! We want to make sure the skills we teach are relevant and up-to-date. Please take a moment to review the list of life skills taught at last year's event and share your thoughts.
New ideas: What essential life skills should we incorporate this year?
Revisions: Are there any skills we should remove or update from the previous list?
Your perspective as a parent or community member is crucial for ensuring our seniors are truly prepared for the next chapter. Ideas can be shared using this link: https://forms.gle/wmm6viqdc8ALBe2K8

Autopsy of an Empire Project
Learning Objective: Students will be able to examine the rise and fall of land-based empires by completing detailed graphic organizers and “autopsies” of six major empires from 1450–1750.
In this hands-on historical investigation, students became historians and forensic examiners, performing “autopsies” on once-powerful empires including the Ottoman, Safavid, Mughal, Qing, Tokugawa, and Russian Empires. Working in groups, they researched each empire’s political, social, economic, and cultural structures, then created illustrated autopsy posters and creative obituaries showing how and why each empire declined.
The project combined research, analysis, and creativity—culminating in colorful, historically accurate displays that make the story of early modern empires come alive.

This honor reflects the hard work and dedication of our teachers, staff, students, and families who make Rivercrest a great place to learn and grow every day. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to excellence. Colt Pride runs deep!
