The Children's Dental Group visited with K-2 students today to discuss the importance of brushing teeth and having good dental health.
Students in Mrs. Elder's art classes are working on a pottery project in which they will create cell phone amplifiers. Once completed students will glaze the projects and they will be fired in the kiln.
The Colts overcame a 12 point 4th quarter deficit to grab the road win at Osceola 71-68. The Colts were down 4 with 53 seconds left when Fran Robinson nailed a 3 to pull Rivercrest to within one. Buddah Harris gave the Colts a lead on the next possession. After a Jayden Young steal, Young scored on a putback to set the final score. Young led the Colts with 19. Buddah Harris poured in 16. Cavonta Washington scored 12. Rivercrest improved to 23-2 overall and finished the undefeated in conference with a 12-0 record. GO COLTS!

The Colts edged out Harrisburg on the road 57-54. Fran Robinson led the Colts with 19. Jayden Young had 11 and Koby Turner added 10. Rivercrest improves to 22-2 overall and 11-0 in conference. The Colts are the outright 3A-3 conference champions.
Jostens Ring Ceremony was held yesterday for students who ordered senior rings. This event is hosted by our Jostens rep and gives students the chance to check out their senior rings for the first time and show them off to their classmates! #classof2024 #classof2025

Due to missed inclement weather days, progress reports will not be published today, January 31. They will be available on Thursday, February 15 - Parent Teacher Conference day. This will allow students and teachers to catch up on instruction/assessment.

Students in grades 10th, 11th, and 12th attended a prom safety presentation with a hands-on activity provided by the Instructor Aaron Schenk. Students participated in activities in the Breath Alcohol Testing/Sobriety Checkpoint vehicle, affectionately known as the BAT Mobile. This vehicle is an important tool in the state's arsenal to combat drunk driving and is incredibly high-tech.
Superintendent Mike Cox presented 6th-grade student Fox Forrester a framed Osceola Times newspaper article highlighting his significant role in bringing the first speedcubing competition to Northeast Arkansas and showcasing his impressive cubing skills.
Mrs. Cain's Child Development Class has been learning about Mental Health and bringing awareness to child suicide. Today they had a self care day because sometimes you need is some time to take care of yourself.

The Colts were impressive in a 63-30 win over Corning. Fran Robinson led the way with 14. Koby Turner and Kash Span notched 13. Jayden Young added 10. The Colts are now 19-2 overall and 8-0 in conference.
The Lady Colts took down Corning 69-68 in overtime. Destiny Burks was fouled with seconds remaining in regulation and knocked down all 3 free throws to send the game into overtime. Burks led the Lady Colts with 27. Mykayla Banks had 23 and Zakiyah Brownlee added 13.
The Jr Lady Colts beat Corning 46-16. Armani Facon had 13. Randashia Booker and Emme Weldon added 9 each.
