IT’S GAME DAY and this evening is SENIOR NIGHT for the Colts. Rivercrest will host Piggott in the regular season finale. Senior Night activities are scheduled for 6:25pm with kickoff slated at 7:00pm.
Your Colts are 8-1 overall and 5-1 in the 3A-3 conference after blasting Manila on the road last week 45-6. QB Cavonta Washington has thrown for 1,834 yards and 26TDs and has rushed for nearly 800 yards and 9 more scores. He’s had a great group to distribute the ball to in Buddah Harris (39-753yds 10TDs), Jayden Young (34-499yds 8TDs & 6 rushing TDs), Jakavion Williams (25-380yds 5TDs), and Keiran Morris (16-265yds 3TDs). Young leads the Colt defense with 59 tackles and 5 INTs. Four more players have at least 50 tackles — Andrew Lomack (55 tackles 11TFL), Nolan Williams (53 tackles), Keiran Morris (51 tackles), and Tekylun Sanders (50 tackles). The Colts have 6 special teams TDs on the year.
The Mohawks have struggled this season sitting at 0-9 overall and 0-6 in conference. In week 4, Piggott led Newport 18-12 a few minutes from halftime before succumbing to the Greyhounds. The Mohawks love to use a big offensive line and fullback to pave the way for their running attack.
The Colts lead the all-time series 17-1. The Mohawks are looking for a signature win going into the off-season and the Colts are looking to finish the regular season strong ahead of the state playoffs. Make plans to join us at The TEZ to cheer on the red and gray. GO COLTS!

Last year, Rivercrest students competed in the Make48 - E-Z-Go event that took place at The Delta School. Make48 is a 48-hour invention competition where teams are challenged to create a new product, plan, prototype, and pitch it to a panel of judges. This recorded event is a docuseries that is set to premiere on Roku’s This Old House Makers Channel (channel 458) tonight, October 30th at 8pm (CST)!
In this episode release, they will take you behind the scenes, showcasing the incredible journey of seven teams, one from Rivercrest, as they brainstorm, design, and bring their ideas to life. With the challenge theme: The Gardening Golf Cart, find out which team drove their way to the top!

Mrs. Lloyd’s kindergarten students recently enjoyed their first mystery reader of the year. Thank you to Ms. Pam for making reading so much fun!

Our high school Hispanic students embraced Hispanic Heritage Month in style! They came together for a group photo, enjoyed a fun game of Mexican bingo (lotería), and showcased their creativity with their country flag project.

Last week, Mrs. Cain's Child Development students thoughtfully planned toddler-friendly meals, and today they brought those ideas to life in the kitchen! The menu featured chicken, broccoli, rice, and grapes. What a fun way to learn about nutrition and meal prep!
