Our Rivercrest Band Program is recognized as one of the top midsize programs in Arkansas, with 145 talented, musically passionate students. The program is supported by our school administration, local community, and a dedicated booster organization.


The Lady Colts edged out Harrisburg in the Semifinals of the 3A-3 District Tournament 57-55. The Colts built a significant lead and then found themselves down 4 late. A basket by Jalexia Young and a steal and a basket by Destiny Burks erased the deficit. Ella Gonzalez knocked down the winning free throws with 4.7 seconds remaining. A Colt steal sealed the win. Burks led the way with 16 and went over 1,500 career points. Gonzalez and Gabby Harris added 10 each. The Lady Colts will play at 6pm Saturday in the District Finals. GO COLTS!

This past weekend, the Rivercrest Thespians Troupe 11897 traveled to Russellville to represent Rivercrest with troupes from across the state and included 1,795 participants. The awards given are as follows:
Landon Harris - All State Cast
Romeo Riley - Honor Thespian
Annie Vinson - A score of Excellent in Solo Musical
The entire troupe earned their first Good score for the One Act performed earlier in the year.

The Lady Colts 3A-3 District Tournament game scheduled for tonight, February 18 has been canceled due to forecasted inclement weather.


The Colts edged Harrisburg in the 3A-3 district tournament 60-55 to punch their ticket to regionals. Buddah Harris led the way with 25. Jayden Young had 21. Jamaris Byrd added 8. GO COLTS!


Rivercrest School District is closely monitoring the winter weather forecast for February 18th. Due to our longer bus routes, there is a possibility of an early release. If necessary, dismissal will be around 2:00 p.m. A final decision will be made by noon if the winter weather moves into Mississippi County earlier than expected. Any closures or schedule changes will be announced through our automated phone system and on social media. Thank you for your understanding and support.

It's time for senior high post season basketball action! The Colts finish the regular season in the #4 spot and will face off against the host team, Harrisburg, on Monday, February 17 at 5:20 PM. The Lady Colts, with their #2 seed, have earned a spot in the semifinals on Tuesday, February 18 at 4:00 PM—guaranteeing them a place in the regional tournament.
