Step Up Day Pre-K to K
Thursday, May 15
Rivercrest PreK students will begin in the cafeteria at 8:30 to meet and prepare to visit classrooms.
Outside agency students will meet in the cafeteria at 9:45 to meet and prepare to visit classrooms.

The 3A State Track Meet was held in Prescott this week. Tekylun Sanders, Makhi Diggs, Kedric Brown, and Terry Gentry finished 2nd in the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relays. Diggs also finished 2nd in the triple jump. Zane Robinson competed hard in his distance events - 1600 and 3200 meter runs.




Teacher Appreciation Week at Rivercrest Elementary was full of sweet surprises! Our amazing staff were treated each day - lunch from Mi Pueblo, a candy bar and drink delivery, donuts, and a caffeine fix from the tea cart. We are so grateful for our incredible educators!

Several months ago the Kindergarten classes colored monsters. Mrs. Cain's classes have been working hard on creating stuffies from those colored creations. Today they had the privilege of taking them to the students. It was a hit!!

Lady Colts punch their ticket to 3A STATE!!
Rivercrest Lady Colts scored six runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Yellville-Summit Lady Panthers 10-0. Emme Weldon tripled, scoring three runs, an error scored one run, and Addison Johnson singled, scoring two runs.
The Lady Colts added one run in the second after Ella Gonzalez scored after tagging up. Katelyn Ostendorf earned the win for Rivercrest. The hurler allowed five hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking none.
Weldon provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Lady Colts with four runs batted in. The third baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Gonzalez led with three hits in four at bats. Johnson collected two hits in four at bats.

Class of 2025 (Senior) NHS members will be recognized at the Senior Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 8 at 6pm.
