Rivercrest Junior Youth Leadership team attended their monthly meeting at Osceola today. This month's topic was team building. Team members are Abigayle Baker, Hayley Gore, Jered Robertson, Marcus Slayton, Mercuriah Vance, and Lexus Willwerth.

Juniors Emma Brooks, Addy Norvell, Kyleigh Routledge, Mary Jo Booker, and Grace Strop attended Varsity University today, representing Rivercrest Cheer. They spent the day learning team building strategies, new stunt techniques, and leadership skills for the sidelines!

Thank you to Huddle House manager Bobby Byram and his hard working staff. Huddle House prepared breakfast for 66 of our JH students this morning. These students earned breakfast as a reward for advancing on their winter assessment. HS students will be rewarded tomorrow.

Rivercrest FCCLA was honored at the 21st Arkansas Delta Byways Awards Banquet on January 27 as a finalist for planning and serving monthly meals at the Tyronza Senior Citizen Center. Members Gracie and Dakota Rinderer attended and received the recognition plaque for the group.

LADY COLTS BASKETBALL - GAMES POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST

The Academies at Rivercrest High School was awarded $8,250 in incentive funds through the partnership with the PEER Network to honor student growth. The PEER Summative Student Growth School Incentive recognizes and rewards partner schools that have shown growth in 2022 that exceeds prior-year growth in 2021 or pre-pandemic growth in 2020.

In an effort to ensure student safety at the Osceola Country Club bus stop, we are asking parents to follow the parking and route information in included image. Please be mindful of students entering and exiting buses in the parking lot and be on time to pick up students in the afternoon. Also, due to safety, buses cannot stop on the side of the road to pick up late students in the morning.
After-school tutoring is available for students in grades 7-10. Please email cynthia.henderson@smccolts.com if interested.

-Snacks will be provided
-Transportation will be provided if need

In the event that an AMI day is announced, students will have assignments to continue learning.
K-8: Paper packets have been sent home with students (1/27/23). Please watch for this packet and put it in a safe place to be used only when an AMI day is announced.
9-12: AMI assignments will be posted to Google Classroom.
