𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺: https://www.youtube.com/@rivercrestathletics9884 It’s GAME DAY and your Colts hit the road for the first time this season to take on the 5A Valley View Blazers. Kickoff is slated for 7pm. The Colts are 1-1 on the young season after dropping a game to 5A Mills last Friday night. The running game has been great and the Colts look to find more success through the air. RB Koby Turner has rushed for 204 yards and 3TDs on just 12 carries. Michael Rainer continues to do a bit of everything, rushing for 120 yards and 2 scores, catching 6 passes for 101 yards and a TD, and has scored on special teams in each of the first two games. Jayden Young (14), Wyatt Lancaster (13), and Joe Louis Ralph (12) lead the Colts in tackles. Valley View also comes in at 1-1. The Blazers dropped their season opener to 4A powerhouse Harding Academy 55-40, but bounced back last week with a win over Poplar Bluff, MO 26-14. QB Carson Turley has been lights out having thrown for 659 yards and 7TDs and leading the Blazer rushing attack with 156 yards and a score. Andrew Jones (9-177yds 2TDs), TJ Starks (11-166yds 2TDs), Zahki Ervin (7-161yds TD), and Drew Gartman (3-89yds TD) have been stellar at receiver. The Blazer defense is lead by 4* linebacker and University of Missouri commit Brian Huff. Valley View is one of the few teams in which the Colts don’t hold the series advantage. The Blazers lead the series 6-3 and the Colts are 0-4 all-time at Valley View with the last 3 games there being determined by 6 points or less. Make the trip to Jonesboro if possible. If not, Rivercrest Athletics will bring the game live on YouTube. GO COLTS!
