The Colts advance to the finals of the Kell Classic after beat Izard County 59-51. Four Colts were in double figures — Fran Robinson (15), Buddah Harris (15), Jayden Young (13), and Koby Turner (10). Rivercrest will play the winner of Bay and Tuckerman on Saturday, January 13, at 7:30pm. GO COLTS!

The Colts edged out Melbourne 56-53 in the Kell Classic to improve to 12-1 on the year. Jayden Young scored 18 and Buddah Harris poured in 15. Rivercrest will play Izard County Consolidated on Wednesday, January 10, in the semifinals. GO COLTS!
In a battle of two of 3A's top 5 teams and a rematch of last year's semifinal match-up, Jayden Young knocked down the go-ahead free throw with 2 seconds left as the Colts beat Bergman 61-60. Young finished with 20 and Buddah Harris added 13. Rivercrest is now 11-1. GO COLTS!

Mr. Russell's 8th grade science students designed and constructed slides that allowed their marbles to have enough kinetic energy to successfully make it to the end of the slide and without falling off of the sides. They were encouraged to be as creative as possible and design with loops and hills as they saw fit.

Nabholz Construction Apprenticeship Program
If you are thinking about a career in construction and want to work for a large national company Nabholz's apprenticeship program may be a good fit for you. Nabholz is offering a carpentry apprenticeship program that will pay $15 per hour and will start in May 2024. This opportunity is open to students 16-18 years old (by May 2024) that are serious about a career in construction. If you are interested please talk with Mr. Dave and Mr. Stoddard to find out more. The online application for this program is open and interviews begin in January. Please have a resume ready to upload when applying.
