Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, will help close the summer hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not receiving nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. Mark your calendars! Rivercrest School District Open House for grades PK-12 will be held Thursday, August 8 from 5 :00-7:00 pm.


Join us for Summer Fun at the Luxora Community Center in July! Sessions will be from 10am until noon on Tuesday, July 23 through Friday, July 26. Location: A New Beginning Mentor and Help Center (old elementary school campus).


Registration for new students will be held Friday, August 2 from 8:00-11:00 and 12:30-3:00. Please check in at the elementary (K-6) or high school (7-12) office. This is for any new student or approved school choice student.
In order to enroll your student, you will need the following items:
-Birth Certificate
-Shot Record
-Social Security Card
-Two Proofs of Residency (actual bill showing physical address: rent, utilities, etc. School choice students are not required to provide proof of residency.)
-Physical (Kindergarten students)

Rivercrest teachers attended the SREB National Conference - Making Schools Work this week in Nashville, Tennessee. Teachers and administrators learned strategies to advance school improvement efforts and raise student achievement.


The Osceola Health Department will offer a Back to School immunization clinic on Tuesday, July 30 from 9:30 am until 6:00 pm. Call to schedule an appointment (not required) or have your child's immunization records checked: 870-563-2521.
