Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, will help close the summer hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not receiving nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer. Join us for Summer Fun at the Luxora Community Center in July! Sessions will be from 10am until noon on Tuesday, July 23 through Friday, July 26. Location: A New Beginning Mentor and Help Center (old elementary school campus).
Registration for new students will be held Friday, August 2 from 8:00-11:00 and 12:30-3:00. Please check in at the elementary (K-6) or high school (7-12) office. This is for any new student or approved school choice student.
In order to enroll your student, you will need the following items:
-Birth Certificate
-Shot Record
-Social Security Card
-Two Proofs of Residency (actual bill showing physical address: rent, utilities, etc. School choice students are not required to provide proof of residency.)
-Physical (Kindergarten students)

Rivercrest teachers attended the SREB National Conference - Making Schools Work this week in Nashville, Tennessee. Teachers and administrators learned strategies to advance school improvement efforts and raise student achievement.
