How applying can impact their future and help them reach their goals. Please share your #WhyApply reasons in the comments and help encourage our students apply for their dreams.

RIVERCREST SCHOOL DISTRICT EARNS A B RATING! Arkansas Department of Education released school and district letter grades, and we are proud to share that Rivercrest School District earned an overall B rating. Rivercrest School District: B Rivercrest High School: B Rivercrest Elementary School: C Arkansas school letter grades reflect much more than a single test score. They measure student achievement, academic growth, growth of students who are furthest behind, and, at the high school level, graduation and Success Ready outcomes. We are especially proud of our graduation rate above 95% and the continued positive growth in our Success Ready Merit and Distinction graduates, which includes student success through Advanced Placement, career-ready pathways, and concurrent college credits. Our goal is to support students every step of the way, from our 6-Star Preschool through successful high school graduation. Rivercrest Elementary held at a C, and accelerating that growth is our clear priority heading into 2026-2027 school year. We also know that Rivercrest School District is much more than a letter grade. Rivercrest is a district built on pride, tradition, opportunity, and high expectations. Long known for a strong tradition of athletic success, today it is clear that the academic growth taking place across our district is intentional and is becoming the reality envisioned by an amazing group of students and staff. We continue to expand opportunities for students through band, soccer, volleyball, career-ready pathways, college credit opportunities, athletics, and more. Academic growth and expanded student opportunities are both important parts of what makes Rivercrest an amazing school district. We also congratulate schools throughout Mississippi County on their accomplishments. Successful schools are an essential part of successful communities. Strong schools help attract and retain families, strengthen our workforce, support local employers, and prepare the next generation to live, work, lead, and invest right here at home. As Mississippi County continues to grow, the success of our schools will remain an important part of that progress. Academic growth. Expanded opportunities. Pride and tradition. That is what continues to make Rivercrest the School of Choice.

Today is International Dot Day, a celebration of creativity, courage, and making your own unique mark, inspired by the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. Our Pre-K students celebrated by turning a simple dot into a picture, decorating their work with dot stickers, and creating colorful dot art on coffee filters. 🎨 One little dot led to so many big ideas! We love seeing our youngest students create, explore, and make their mark!
