As a reminder, please use the designated pickup and drop-off lines for Rivercrest High School and Rivercrest Junior High School.
For the safety of our students and staff, student pickup and drop-off is not permitted in the faculty parking lot.

The Rivercrest Junior High Cheerleaders have released their home game day themes! Students, staff, and Colt fans...we want to see you dressed up and ready to bring the school spirit! Wear it. Show up. Be loud. GO COLTS!
The results are in… Rivercrest has bacteria! 🦠😂
Our Biology students swabbed locations all over the school, and every location we tested showed bacterial growth!
Don’t worry—bacteria are everywhere, and their presence doesn’t mean a surface is dirty or unsafe. That was part of the lesson!
Students got to see firsthand just how common microorganisms are in our everyday environment while collecting real samples and analyzing real results.
Final results:
Students learned something ✅
Bacteria grew ✅
Teachers slightly concerned about ever touching anything again ✅

Mrs. Lancaster, RJHS librarian, has a new club this year! Here's some feedback from today's meeting: Crocheting is pure, tangible magic—allowing you to build three-dimensional art with nothing more than a single hook and a length of yarn. Our first crochet class is in the books!! We’re learning! We got this!
🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Shannon Wynne and our K–2 Science Lab!
Mrs. Wynne is the August recipient of Rivercrest’s Best All Around and will be recognized at this month’s Board meeting.
She is being honored for her innovation, dedication, and efforts in creating the K–2 Science Lab. Her work inspires curiosity, encourages hands-on learning, and helps build a lifelong love of discovery in our youngest Colts.
Mrs. Wynne also received a $50 gift card donated by Big River Steel. We appreciate Big River Steel for helping us recognize the great work happening across Rivercrest.
