Mr. Russell's 8th grade science students designed and constructed slides that allowed their marbles to have enough kinetic energy to successfully make it to the end of the slide and without falling off of the sides. They were encouraged to be as creative as possible and design with loops and hills as they saw fit.

The Colts move to 9-1 after picking up a conference road win at Walnut Ridge 68-53. Four Colts were in double digits — Jayden Young (22), Koby Turner (13), Kash Span (13), Cavonta Washington (10). GO COLTS!

Nabholz Construction Apprenticeship Program
If you are thinking about a career in construction and want to work for a large national company Nabholz's apprenticeship program may be a good fit for you. Nabholz is offering a carpentry apprenticeship program that will pay $15 per hour and will start in May 2024. This opportunity is open to students 16-18 years old (by May 2024) that are serious about a career in construction. If you are interested please talk with Mr. Dave and Mr. Stoddard to find out more. The online application for this program is open and interviews begin in January. Please have a resume ready to upload when applying.

The Colts finished as the runner-up in Division 1 of the NEA Tournament and had 3 players make the all-tournament team — Cavonta Washington, Buddah Harris, and Jayden Young. GO COLTS!


The Colts survived with a 54-51 win over Tuckerman in the NEA semifinals. Jayden Young led with 19. Cavonta Washington added 13. The Colts will play in the finals tomorrow night at 9pm.



The Colts erased a 15 point second half deficit to beat Batesville 52-48 in the NEA Tournament quarterfinals. Buddah Harris led the way with 15. Jayden Young poured in 13. Fran Robinson and Koby Turner added 9 and 8.


The Colts beat Piggott in the 1st round of the NEA Tournament 65-27. Rivercrest built a 46-18 halftime lead and unloaded the bench in the second half. Cavonta Washington and Kash Span led the way with 12 and 10 all in the first half. Washington was chosen as the First Community Bank Player of the Game. The Colts will play December 27 at 3pm against the Batesville/Cave City winner. GO COLTS!



The Colts built a 22 point lead and thwarted a Manila comeback to take down the Lions 65-60. Kash Span and Koby Turner led the Colts with 16 and 15. Fran Robinson and Buddah Harris added 11. Rivercrest moves to 5-0, 2-0 in conference. GO COLTS!


The Colts beat Trumann 61-43 in the last night of the 2023 Luxora Classic. Cavonta Washington and Kash Span led the Colts with 15 and 14 points respectively. Koby Turner, Buddah Harris, and Fran Robinson added 8 points each. GO COLTS!


The Colts beat Helena-Central 54-45 in the nightcap of the first full day of the Luxora Classic. Fran Robinson led with 17 points and Koby Turner added 14. Rivercrest will play Trumann at 6:30pm tonight in day 2 of the Luxora Classic. GO COLTS!
