Rivercrest Elementary would like to congratulate all students who participated in the school spelling bee this afternoon. We are very proud of our winners! In third place is John Barclay, second place is Gus Bennett, and first place is Marla Grider. All three winners and the first alternate, Silas Harris, will travel to ANC to participate in the county spelling bee at 10 a.m. on January 21st.

We want to thank Gary Ragen, from the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management, for providing an overview of what benefits a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) could provide to us at Rivercrest. We are looking forward to creating a partnership with ADEM and creating a team of students and staff that will be prepared to assist in the event of a disaster. The Colts took down Maynard in the first round of the Kell Classic 73-31. Jayden Young led all scorers with 20. Jamaris Byrd poured in 15. Buddah Harris added 14.
The Colts beat Trumann on the road 59-51. Jayden Young led the way with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 8 steals, and 6 assists. Jamaris Byrd had a big 16 points. Buddah Harris added 11. GO COLTS!
The Colts outscored Tuckerman 18-7 in the 4th to win 56-50. Buddah Harris capped the game with a steal and a dunk. Jayden Young led the Colts with 16. Cavonta Washington had 11 and Jamaris Byrd poured in 10. Harris had 8, Jakavion Williams 7, and Marquis Nunn 4. GO COLTS!

Jr high and high school students were invited to a Christmas craft party.
ATLAS Level 4 and Level 3 along with all students who showed growth were invited to participate in a Christmas craft party. The students chose a craft to create as a gift to share.
What better way to bounce into the holiday season than with a fun day at Ultimate Air? Our Pre-K students had an absolute blast enjoying their last day of school before Christmas break!
