This week was a special one for Rivercrest School District as we celebrated several exciting projects that will benefit our students and families for years to come.

Rivercrest Elementary Playground
Construction will begin soon on a brand new, inclusive playground at Rivercrest Elementary, with completion expected in early fall.
Designed with input from our students and teachers, the playground will feature:
• A fully turfed play surface for year-round use
• Student-requested swings and modern climbing equipment
• Large shade structures
• Sensory play features
• An accessible merry-go-round
• ADA swings and wheelchair-accessible play areas, made possible in part through the generous support of Ag for Autism
This playground is being built so every child has a safe, engaging, and inclusive place to play, explore, and grow.
Campus Safety
Automatic security gates will be installed at our campus entrances, helping create an even safer environment for our students and staff throughout the school day.
Neighbor by Neighbor
Support will also expand our Neighbor by Neighbor initiative by providing parent incentives that strengthen attendance, family engagement, academic success, and student well-being.
These projects represent meaningful investments in our students, our schools, and our community. We are thankful for the partnerships that continue to create opportunities for Rivercrest students today and for generations to come.
